Welcome to Tropical Food Garden

Tropical Food Garden began to record gardening notes here from our large suburban backyard food forest. We were lockdown gardeners growing as much food as we could to cut food costs. But then our dream came true, we bought a farm. This site will document our adventure in the renovation of the property, tropical permaculture gardening, plus raising the animals I’ve wanted since childhood on 5 acres of paradise. Life is pretty sweet on the homestead, but it’s a lot of work!
